Meal Plan 11/27/11 - 12/03/11

First, I hit 50,000 words on Sunday, November 27th!!! I won my first year of NaNoWriMo and I feel an awesome sense of accomplishment! However, I feel like November was totally lost in a haze of Microsoft Word and sleepless nights (thanks Puca baby!). Can you believe how Christmas is creeping up on us? It feels like just a couple days ago it was so far away. Now Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas is less than four weeks away! I am really looking forward to getting our Christmas tree this weekend and figuring out how to keep a very willful almost-two-year old from destroying it and eating ornament hooks. I am also trying to figure out how to keep the spiders out of the house. Last year they took over and just the thought of it gives me the willies!

I am back on gluten and seem to be doing fine. I have not noticed an increase in headaches or upset stomach, so hopefully whatever was going on was a fluke and it will stay away! I am still eschewing cherries and walnuts though.

Here is my first back-to-normal meal plan =)

Sunday
L: Whatever we could find! =)
D: Ham and bean soup from Thanksgiving leftovers

Monday
L: Peanut Butter & Honey
D: Out =/

Tuesday:

L: Grilled cheese
D: Baked chicken breasts with lemon pepper and green beans.

Wednesday:
L: Turkey sandwiches on homemade rolls
D: General Tso's Chicken & Rice

Thursday
L: Rolls and Carrot Sticks / Salad Rolls
D: Crock Pot tortilla soup

Friday
L: PB&J
D: Broccoli Beef & Rice

Saturday
L: Leftover Tortilla Soup
D: Pulled Pork sandwiches on fresh baked bread

Also this week:
Grandpa's bread recipe, pitas and cranberry cashew Lara Bar knock offs and hopefully I'll get some cleaning and knitting in there as well! =)

  1. So glad you are feeling better!!! Menu sounds yummy. I only sold two dishcloths Sat., but my friend made about $30.00 from the two weekends. How do you feel about your novel? <3

  2. I cannot figure out how to reply directly to you! I thought I could do it via email, but it is not working.

I tried SO hard to get some cards done. I don't know why I couldn't manage to finish them! Probably because every time I'd start, someone was demanding my attention and my children have decided that sleep is optional =D

I feel like my story is far from finished and it is going to take a long time to edit and rewrite it before I am happy with it. The experience of getting so much out on 'paper' in such a short amount of time was amazing though!
